So, the ladies thought they could out fun the guys huh?
Well, Steve got a lot more pics because he wasn’t in front of the camera, so you be the judge.
This scene was originally just a short with a few lines. Since we had so many great psycho chicks audition, I knew we had to build it up. We wrote some extra lines and then played some improv games… oh my.

Men’s group meeting FTW.
We spent a lot of our time getting to know one another, getting comfortable as actors, and then learning about the characters everyone would be portraying. It may have seemed like a waste of time at the beginning, but it really got the guys to look like a great team. It was a hell of a lot of fun and I can’t wait to work with these guys once again.

Just in case you couldn’t already tell, the entire site has gone through a major redesign. I hope you all enjoy, please try it out and press lots of buttons!
This was going to be a really tough bit of shooting. It involved two amateur actors who are visited at the very beginning and end of the film. Yeah, not a lot that could go wrong with that, right?
Amateur they may be, but these guys stepped up really understanding the script, their roles, and their character.
They each have their own reasons for auditioning for an acting gig, and I?m really going to pressure them both to keep working. It was such a pleasure working with them and they really set some high standards. Great job all around!

What an incredible time we?ve been having. A whirlwind of pre-production activity and finally we actually have a camera out.
Oh, don?t get me started on cameras. On four occasions we had some really trying times, wondering if we?d even have a camera for the production. As it stands, big shout out to Canon for pulling our bacon off the fire and getting us something to work with on time. For those of you who have been paying attention though, we?ve still got the Panasonic as a DAT.
So, follow that stress up with the scheduling, location headaches, and piles of paperwork, but it all becomes worth it once we see the dalies.

Byron Yoh makes up a portion of the Siren Productions team that is both critical and somewhat mystical in nature. He plays the role of ‘the grown up’. This is the only possible way I can describe it and it is especially unusual considering that his chronological age is lower than all the other members.
Byron is the guy that knows things about ‘numbers’, particularly those with dollar signs in front of them. He also understands this thing called ‘business’ and ‘legal considerations’. Please forgive me if I am being too complicated, I hardly understand it myself. Ultimately, what he does is listen to our crazy ideas, sigh, and somehow arrange things so we can actually do them without going broke, going to jail, or getting beaten up. He also uses strange spells like “let’s do lunch” and “have your people call my people” and somehow this get’s us in touch with important people.
Keep your eyes glued, updates to come!
We’ve gone and done it now! We may be poor starving filmmakers, but getting an entry in the Internet Movie Database pretty much makes us legit.
I’m actually super thrilled by this because it opens up some avenues for us. When it comes to finding support or contributions of time, equipment or even hopefully, money, this entry at least shows that we’re not just talking out of our backsides. All for a short done on a shoestring budget by a bunch of friends.
Check out our entry and get ready to watch it grow.
